I Promised Typos

Anytime you come across English in Japan, you’re bound to come across something very interesting. Conversation school is no exception to that rule. Here’s a flashcard that came with one of the sets:

But of course every place makes typos now and then, and Aeon replaced the bad cards so it’s forgivable… but this is something that baffles me to this day:

I really don’t know what to say about that. It was written by one of the foreign staff, not a Japanese person, for an article lesson supplement. All I can think is that it’s some awesome joke meant to screw over lazy teachers who didn’t carefully review their materials before class. I hope so anyway.
