Exciting to hear about your winter celebrations. Happy Birthday!!! After years of neglect, I am enjoying your webb site. I admire your creative skill and adventursom spirit. Perhaps we live a bit vicariously through your adventures here.

On our side of the world, Bryce and Tanya left yesturday for a month in Russia at Tanya's home. Neal and Anna came on Thursday for about two weeks. We all went to the Nutcracker ballet, then to a Brazilian restaurant and had all the meat we could handle. It is an all you can eat meat experience. Fogo de Chao is the restaurant chain. Then we walked over to an Ice bar a couple blocks away. Sandra really liked the frozen experience. Christmas continues when Neal returns from Anna's house and we plan to make Julekaker (in bread form - I bought the Citron - a part of an evergreen tree) and then pettifours (spelling could be flawed).

We have talked about going to Norway with Ken and Paula and at the moment are not sure. Possible trip for Sandra to Nepal for a wedding in early February. Sandra always wanted to go to Japan so while you are there is the perfect time. We have not made commitments.

I hope all your days after 25 are spectacular. Keep you underwear inside your plants. Gary
