June 9th Already? Huh??
Where did the time go?
Yikes!
Well, as you can see, some time in the past couple of weeks I did roll out a new site design, though it’s different from what I had been working on before. I like this one, but it’s only about half-way finished. That is, it works, and it’s on the right track to where I want it to go, but it still needs a lot more personalization to reach what I want. I’m afraid it will stay like this for a while, though, until at least after the wedding.
I can’t believe how fast things are going. We’re mostly set with the wedding plans and travel plans now, though there are a few more tasks to finish. Last weekend we had Aeon’s BBQ party at Katsuyama, like the one we had last year in August. It was fun and exhausting, as expected, and fortunately the weather was much cooler this year. Other than that, my life has been utterly consumed by work, as it has for about half of my stay here in Japan… I’m really looking forward to ending that and actually being able to look for art-related work, actually have time to paint, and energy to do *something* after work. It’s really scary at the same time, but above all it’s going to be a huge relief. Only a few weeks left!
