Chicken Techno

My friend posted this on Facebook and it was just too awesome not to steal and put on my site as well. This is truly brilliant. Apparently it was originally a Dominoes Pizza commercial for their chicken pizza? I’m not sure actually, but that’s what some other YouTube posts said… and you know the internet doesn’t lie!

8 Bit Trip

Wow. Just wow.

This video takes me back in all its aspects: LEGO, 8-bit music, and stop-motion video. And I really love the kung-fu guys; that was one dang hard Nintendo game.

Do You Wanna Date My Avatar?

Have you been watching The Guild? If you’re any level of nerd, you should be able to find it funny. If you’re not watching, this video should give you an idea of what you’re missing; if you understand the video, you’d probably like the show.

I guess the coolest thing about the show is not even the subject matter — it’s the fact that it rose to fame entirely on YouTube. A group of actors started posting 3 minute sketches on YouTube and just based on that it got to where it is now. It’s even being sponsored by Microsoft now.

Part of me is jealous, because I’ve always enjoyed filming videos, and I’ve always wanted to have some kind of local access level TV show about a bunch of nerdy D&D players — Sort of like the Dead Alewives’ D&D sketch — and these guys just about did that. Well, good for them!

Well I got back from the world premiere of the first Hydrogen Film Festival, and my film went pretty well. The audience liked it. Anyway, I’ve encoded it and uploaded it.

Here are the pictures I have scanned from my sophomore year at Ringling. Keep in mind that not all of these are what I would call good… but I just like to post them here for posterity.

Freshman Year at Ringling Work

I don’t have very much work from my freshman year at Ringling online because most of it was charcoal and would be difficult to scan. Here are some of the highlights though:

Here is the video that my friends and I created during our freshman year, Anger Management:
